Who let the dogs out?! 🐕
Discover the off-leash areas close to our campsite
In South Limburg there is a nice off-leash area at the Old Mine site between Landgraaf and Eygelshoven. It is an open area with several hiking trails. Dogs are allowed off-leash in the triangle between Einsteinstraat, Rouenhofweg and Mensheggerweg..
The Brunssumerheide is a vast 1800-hectare nature reserve between Brunssum, Heerlen and Landgraaf and alternates heathland with deciduous and coniferous forests. Here your furry animal friend can romp freely, without having to be on a leash..
The Savelsbos is located on the foothills of the Plateau of Margraten. Between the trees you look out over Maastricht as you walk through old monastery gardens and past historic sites. The forest is a beautiful place to walk with your dog.

.
🐶 Are dogs allowed to run loose in the campground?
No, at the campsite your faithful four-legged friend must be on a leash. But fortunately there are plenty of places in the area and in the surrounding nature reserves where dogs are allowed to run and romp freely.
